Preparing for Videoconference #2
Date: February 16, 2011 8:00 AM EST/3:00 PM Amman, Cairo & Tel Aviv
Now that each school has been matched with their partner school abroad, it’s time to start collaborating! The time between Videoconference #1 and #2 is critical – this is when the bulk of research, planning and outreach will take place for the formation of each team’s service-learning project.
Challenge #2:
Develop a 10 (ten) minute presentation showcasing your school’s service-learning project idea and implementation plan to create awareness and take action on your given environmental issue. Make sure to describe how your school has collaborated with your teammates abroad between Videoconferences #1 and #2.

The GIA will hold its second videoconference on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 8:00 AM EST and 3:00 PM Cairo, Amman and Tel Aviv time. If you would like to video the videoconference live, please click here to register your class/school. Everyone that views the broadcast and submits a question will be eligible to win an iPod Nano.
